FAQ

In an effort to get streamline the “Get to know him process” Oliver has taken the liberty of supplying the answers for some common questions.

Q: What are your strengths?

A: Solving problems with creative and often non-conventional solutions. Taking the initiative to build failsafes into all my plans to always have a back up plan if something falls through. Spotting trends in media, entertainment, and tech before they become popular. The ability to see where a story might be going wrong and knowing how to lead a team to solve that issue. Oh and Puns… I am very good at puns.

Q: What are your weaknesses?

A: I have trouble accepting the response of “It will do” or “it’s fine”. I constantly strive to push my work to a level of polish where that is never the response. I also tend to get completely wrapped up in a project and forget to sleep but I meet deadlines every time!

Q: What can you offer us that someone else can not?

A: Due to my vast experience in Live Performance, Marketing and Show Building I have developed the skills to deliver unforgettable and often humorous work that people will talk about long after the completion of the project.

Q: Are you willing to relocate?

A: Willing and able! I am a firm believer that you go where the work is!

Q: Are you willing to travel?

A: Plain and simple, I LOVE TRAVELING! My time on the road touring with shows like “MISSION IMPROVable”, “Delta Dental and the Land of Smiles”, and “Storytown Improv” made me a navy seal when it comes to travel. My record through airport security is 20 seconds through TSA (NON PRE-CHECK) at the Las Vegas Airpot.

Q: Tell us how you handled a difficult situation.

A: I was working with a client on the launch of their new Wine and Cheese Bar. We had been planing the launch party for 5 months and had invited press and influencers to cover the event. The day before the event the Hotel next door had a problem with their Union Workers which lead to a protest infront of their property. Not only was the picket line marching infront of my client’s bar but they had a 15-FOOT INFLATABLE RAT. Needless to say the client was panicking.

So, I came up with the solution to dress up actors as mice and have them join the protest with signs demanding cheese. On top of this we also dressed up the staff as mice to hand out cheese through out the party and serve samples on giant prop mousetraps. The event attendees thought it was a PR stunt that was planned rather than a real protest.

Q: How do you handle pressure?

A: To say I thrive under pressure is an understatement. I have performed infront of crowds of 3000 people and when the going get’s tough I shine most. Keeping a level head, buckling down and JUST GETTING IT DONE is what I do best. Having made decisions that effect peoples jobs, budgets and futures can throw some people but not me.

Q: What motivates you?

A: My drive strives from my desire to be remembered and make a real difference. I want to leave a legacy that speaks for itself.

Q: What gets you up in the morning?

The opening shouts from the song “CIRCLE OF LIFE” from The Lion King. What get’s going is the idea that I get to create something new and work with people/clients that excite me.

Q: Adrianna has 10 pieces of gum to share with her friends. There wasn’t enough gum for all her friends, so she went to the store to get 3 more pieces of gum. How many pieces of gum does Adrianna have now?

A: Still 10. Adrianna went to Ikea and they don’t sell gum. Furthermore she really needs to question her friendships if they are all reliant on her giving them stuff. Adrianna has overcome so much but with help can learn to be happy with herself.

Q: New York Style Pizza or Deep Dish?

A: If it can’t be folded in half and eaten with one hand THEN IT ISN’T PIZZA. I have no time for Cheese Casserole (Deep Dish).

Q: Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Sesame Street?

A: No. Google it?
